The reactor equipment of Yangzi Petrochemical Catalytic Cracking Project was successfully capped

On March 12, the core equipment of the 2.8 million tons/year catalytic cracking project of the Yangzi Petrochemical Refining Structural Adjustment Project undertaken by the Refining and Chemical Engineering Ten Construction Company - the reactor was successfully capped, marking the realization of another key construction node goal of the project.

It is understood that the reactor equipment of the catalytic cracking unit is 71 meters high, with a maximum diameter of 9.6 meters and a total weight of about 1,200 tons. It is an important part of the construction of Yangzi Petrochemical's refining structure adjustment project.

Faced with the adverse factors of narrow construction space and difficult safety control, the project department of Shijian Company adopted the construction strategy of "one site, two construction sites" and implemented modular prefabrication of "two equipment" equipment. The project department divided the reactor equipment into 5 modules, and implemented unified prefabrication and centralized welding, which effectively improved the construction efficiency and reduced safety risks such as high-altitude operations and lifting.
