IFF CEO: The merger process with DuPont Nutrition is coming to an end
This week, the US International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) held an investor conference call during which CEO Andreas Fibig (Andreas Fibig) stated that the company and DuPont Nutrition and Biotechnology’s $26.2 billion merger and acquisition It will be completed by February 1, 2021.
Phoebe Ge said that prior to this, IFF and DuPont shareholders had voted to approve the merger, and the approval rate of the IFF party was as high as 99%. Currently, the transaction has received antitrust approvals from multiple jurisdictions, and Mexico is the latest country to give it the green light. He hopes to get European approval next month.
Bloomberg reported that the merger of IFF and DuPont Nutrition and Biotechnology will create a global giant with a market value of 45.4 billion US dollars. The giant will occupy a leading position in the fields of taste, food texture, enzymes, cultured bacteria, soy protein, probiotics, etc., and have leading research and development capabilities.
