IFF to Establish Scent Creative Center in Mumbai
IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients, health, and biosciences, has announced plans to establish a new Scent Creative Center in Mumbai, India.
The facility, strategically located in the city's Powai neighborhood, is expected to be fully operational in the first half of 2026. With the Indian fragrance market projected to maintain steady growth, the new creative center will enhance IFF's ability to win over customers by delivering leading-edge fragrance innovations.
"The Mumbai Creative Center embodies IFF's commitment to innovation and excellence in one of the world's most dynamic markets," said Ana Paula Teles de Mendonça, President of IFF Scent.
"By expanding our presence in India, we are not only bringing IFF's world-class fragrance capabilities closer to local consumers, but also accelerating our ability to co-create exceptional solutions, serving our customers with greater agility, while also empowering the exceptional talent who drive our creativity and leadership."
The modern, technical facility will house over 100 employees and feature advanced laboratories, cross-category evaluation rooms, and state-of-the-art sensory evaluation space.
