BW LPG Intends to Merge with Dorian LPG

According to sources, the global largest LPG ship owner-BW LPG intended to merge with the global second largest ship owner-Dorian LPG. Thus, the global LPG transportation pattern will change to some extent.
On May 29, 2018, BW LPG announced a proposal that BW intended to merge with Dorian LPG via the all-stock transaction. According to the proposal, shareholders of Dorian LPG will be able to exchange 2.05 shares of BW LPG for every share of Dorian LPG. According to the proposed transaction, BW LPG intends to double-list on the NYSE, which will allow Dorian LPG shareholders to accept the transaction. After the transaction is completed, the shares held by the shareholders of Dorian LPG will account for 45% of the combined company.
