CYNDA plans to build an project of 5000 t/a Clethodim

CYNDA announced that the company intends to invest in the construction of an 5000 t/a Clethodim technical project in the Economic Development Zone of Baoxing County, the project products are Clethodim technical  and stock solution, and the total investment is expected to be 65.6 million yuan.

The construction scope of this project includes new technical workshop (annual output of 2,500 tons of Clethodim active drug and 2,500 tons of Clethodim stock solution) and supporting tank farm. The project construction period is 12 months.

Clethodim is a Cyclohexenone herbicide, which is mainly used to control wild oats, matang, setaria, and other gramineous weeds in broad leaf fields such as rape, cotton, peanut, etc. In recent years, Glyphosate-resistant grass weeds have appeared in soybean fields, which brings the development opportunity for Clethodim and makes it more applicable to crops. It has the advantages of safety, low residue, high efficiency and low toxicity, and has become a new post-emergence herbicide in dry fields, showing good selectivity and growth. Clethodim is well received by farmers and has the highest proportion of Cyclohexenone herbicides.

CYNDA said that with the expansion of the company's sales channels, the sales of Clethodim achieved continuous growth, becoming one of the company's main products. In order to further optimize the regional production layout of products and meet the needs of future strategic development, the company plans to build a new project with an annual output of 5000 tons of Clethodim in the headquarters plant. After the completion of this project will help consolidate the company's productivity advantage in the field of Clethodim products, improve the competitiveness of products. It has the advantages of safety, low residue, high efficiency and low toxicity, and has become a new post-emergence herbicide in dry fields, showing good selectivity and growth.
