UPL introduces SHENZI™700 WG and SHENZI™400 SC in the North American market
UPL recently introduced the Chlorantraniliprole insecticides SHENZI™700 WG and SHENZI™400 SC to the North American market.
SHENZI™700 WG control pests in crops such as pome, nut, citrus, stone fruit, cranberry and grape, including apple codling moth, leaf miner and navel orange borer. SHENZI™400 SC insecticide provides long-term control of armyworms, cotton bollworms and potato beetles in crops such as potatoes, soybeans, cotton, fruits and vegetables, corn, strawberries and peanuts.
SHENZI™700 WG and 400 SC provide growers with proven solutions that protect crops from pest infestations and resistance issues while minimizing environmental impact. The potent active ingredient Chlorantraniliprole is only targeted at pests and has less effect on beneficial insect populations such as bees and other pollinators. Its concentrated preparations have lower dosages, less packaging and storage space to improve efficiency, convenience and reduce costs for farmers.
David Davies, UPL Marketing Manager, said: "Growers will have confidence in their crops and SHENZI can protect even the most challenging pests through excellent resistance management, making it an ideal integrated pest management partner for rotation programmes. SHENZI strengthens our growing portfolio of solutions that support growers to sustainably produce healthy and nutritious crops."
UPL has one of the most comprehensive product portfolios on the market, offering growers solutions from pre-planting to post-harvest. SHENZI™700 WG and SHENZI™400 SC are awaiting registration in California.
