PPG Appoints New Global Vice President of Automotive Coatings
PPG recently announced the appointment of Alisha Bellezza as Vice President of Global Automotive Coatings, effective from July 17, 2023. Bellezza will succeed Vincent Robin and will report to Kevin Braun, Senior Vice President of PPG's Industrial Coatings business, who has announced his intention to retire, effective from July 31, 2023. PPG stated that Bellezza will support PPG in continuing to focus and innovate to enhance sustainability for automotive customers, as well as drive expansion and success in the mobility space, contributing to PPG's growth.
Prior to joining PPG, Bellezza served as President of Thermal and Specialized Solutions at Axalta. She was also a member of the executive team. During her over eight years with Axalta, Bellezza also served as Vice President of Global Sales, Commercial Operations, and Supply Chain from 2018 to 2020, as well as Vice President, Corporate Controller, and Investor Relations Officer from 2016 to 2018. Bellezza's career began in the chemicals industry before moving into finance and banking.
Bellezza holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Loyola University New Orleans and an MBA from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
