Corteva launches Straxan™ fungicide seed treatment in Canada
Corteva today announced the availability in Canada of Straxan™ fungicide seed treatment (Tebuconazole 4.6 g/L + Metalaxyl 12.6 g/L + Difenoconazole 36.3 g/L), a new ready-to-use formulation for the control of major seed and soil-borne grain diseases.
As the latest addition to Corteva’s leading cereal protection portfolio, Straxan provides early control of early stage diseases such as Fusarium, Rhizobium and Dust-brand smut, helping to maximise crop growth and yield potential.
In addition to its strong disease control capabilities, Straxan is easy to use, flexible to be applied, whether through commercial seed processors or farm equipment, and stable to be applied under different conditions and temperatures, according to Codihua.
In addition, Straxan fungicide seed treatments are highly compatible and can be used in conjunction with a variety of seed treatment products, such as Lumina™ CPL insecticide seed treatments, which provide the broadest spectrum of crop seedling pest control on the market, providing long-term control of nematodes, root cutters and more
