BioWorks launches EpiShield, which has a higher fatality rate of 53%

2023-10-10

BioWorks recently launched EpiShield, a new acaricide/insecticide designed to make it easy for growers to use and effective in killing insects.

The advantages of EpiShield's liquid formulation include: the utilization rate is 10-28 times lower than other insecticidal oils, there are no restrictions on reentry intervals and pre-harvest intervals, and it has a strong killing effect on major pests. The low utilization rate greatly reduces the risk of drug damage to plant tissue.

BioWorks expressed that EpiShield has a 53 percent higher pest fatality rate than its insecticidal oil and can be used on indoor and outdoor mites, aphids, thrips, whiteflies and scale insects. EpiShield can paralyze, asphyxiate and dehydrate the target pests by contact. The active ingredients contained in EpiShield are clove oil, peppermint oil and Sodium dodecyl sulfate. This exclusive formulation is ideal for areas that require quick point-spray contact.
