Ichimaru Pharcos Introduces Biobenefity conc: A Sustainable, High-Potency Cosmetic Ingredient

Ichimaru Pharcos has unveiled Biobenefity conc, a cosmetic ingredient that not only aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) but also represents a concentrated iteration of the popular Biobenefity (INCI: Cynara Scolymus (Artichoke) Leaf Extract).

Biobenefity originates from artichoke leaves and boasts cynaropicrin as its active component. Cynaropicrin plays a pivotal role in thwarting the activation of NF-κB, a key factor in skin aging. It is a well-regarded natural anti-aging ingredient with the potential to combat issues such as pigmentation, photoaging, and enlarged pores.

This newly introduced Biobenefity conc is engineered to be even more potent, with the cynaropicrin content increased up to tenfold compared to its predecessor. Notably, this concentrated format offers environmental benefits, as it reduces CO2 emissions associated with transportation, minimizes container waste, and optimizes storage space. As such, it not only elevates its sustainability profile but also opens the door for higher dosage incorporation into cosmetic formulations.
