Public Invitation for Feedback on 8 New Food Additives, including Rebaudioside M
In accordance with the "Measures for the Administration of New Varieties of Food Additives" and the "Regulations on the Application and Acceptance of New Varieties of Food Additives," a request has been made for public feedback on eight new food additives. These additions encompass Rebaudioside M, new enzyme preparations for the food industry, including cyclodextrin glucosidyl transferase and cellulase. Additionally, there are applications for expanding the scope of use for four existing food additives, such as 2'-fucosyllactose and tomato red, and the introduction of a new type of food nutrition fortifier.
The technical evaluation for these food additives and expansions of use has been completed by an expert review committee, which has assessed their safety and process necessity (please refer to the attached document for detailed information).
