The 2023 Mexico International Food Technology Exhibition and Summit witnessed a significant industry event from September 27th to 28th, 2023, held at the Citi Exhibition Center in Mexico City. This event made its mark in the American market and extended its reach to the European region. With a vast total exhibition space of 2.8 10,000 square meters, the event featured over 350 exhibiting companies, drawing the attention of more than 20,000 professional visitors in the food technology sector.

The Chinese pavilion at this exhibition was a notable presence, comprising over 30 manufacturers and traders. It marked the seventh occasion when the China Food Additives and Ingredients Association and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Light Industry Branch organized Chinese companies to partake in the Mexico exhibition. The exhibition showcased nearly 100 products, including sodium alginate, soy protein, microalgae raw materials, malt extract, chia seeds, tea powder, sucralose, glucose, citric acid, lactic acid, carrageenan, xanthan gum, agar, phosphate, sorbic acid, benzoate, and more. It also provided a platform for presenting the latest innovations in the field of food science and technology from China.

The Mexico International Food Technology Exhibition and Summit encompassed various aspects of food technology, including functional ingredients, nutritional supplements, plant extracts, sweeteners, stabilizers, emulsifiers, colorants, hydrophilic colloids, gums, gelatin, fats, oils, flavors, fragrances, dietary fiber, starch, dairy products, flour and cereal derivatives, packaging, packaging materials, labels, food processing machinery, packaging machinery, laboratory and testing equipment, hygiene, safety, cleaning, food chemistry, certification, training, and consulting institutions.

The event attracted globally renowned companies, including Ingedion, Roya, Azelis, Bell, Beneo, Cargill, Domino, IFF, BASF, Lonza, Silesia, Tate & Lyle, and many others.
