Total Investment of 173.412 Million Yuan, 20,000 Tons/Year Tetrabromobisphenol A Expansion Project Aannounced

Recently, the tetrabromobisphenol A technology optimization and upgrading project of Changlu Hangu Salt Farm Co., Ltd. in Tianjin, China was announced.

Tianjin Changlu Hangu Salt Farm Co., Ltd. plans to invest 173.412 million yuan to build a tetrabromobisphenol A technology optimization and upgrading project in its second brine comprehensive utilization plant. It intends to use the existing plant to optimize and expand the existing 10,000 tons/year tetrabromobisphenol A plant, and form a set of 20,000 tons/year tetrabromobisphenol A plant after technical transformation and expansion.

Project investment: The total project investment is 173.412 million yuan.

After the project is completed, the annual output of tetrabromobisphenol A will be 20,000 t/a and sodium sulfate 0.25 million t/a. The project will not increase the land area. The main project content of this project is to use the existing factory building to optimize the technology, upgrade and expand the existing 10,000 tons/year tetrabromobisphenol A unit. After the technical transformation and expansion, a 20,000 tons/year tetrabromobisphenol A unit will be formed.

The Second Brine Comprehensive Utilization Plant of Tianjin Changlu Hangu Salt Farm Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary unit of Tianjin Changlu Hangu Salt Farm Co., Ltd. It is located east of Changshen Expressway and south of Binbao Expressway in Binhai New District, Tianjin. It is located in the northwest of the responsible company, the factory currently has an industrial bromine device and a tetrabromobisphenol A device. The main products are industrial bromine and tetrabromobisphenol A, with an annual output of 1,000 tons of industrial bromine and 10,000 tons of tetrabromobisphenol A.
