Graphene Manufacturing Group Launches CoolWork Coating Products
Graphene Manufacturing Group (GMG) is celebrating the launch of CoolWorx, an energy-saving coating product, in the United States.
CoolWorx, a product powered by GMG graphene from distributor Nu-Calgon, was launched at AHR Expo, a major event for the North American heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC-R) industry.
The coating product has previously been approved in Canada. Additionally, the company noted that its THERMAL-XR coating system is currently going through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approval process to enable import and sale of the product in the United States.
GMG said it expects to receive EPA approval in the first quarter of 2024 and, once approved, is expected to open up a significant market.
"I'm excited to see Nu-Calgon officially launch the product at the AHR Expo in Chicago, it is also great to see the Canadian government approving THERMAL-XR powered by GMG Graphene for import and sale in Canada. " GMG CEO Craig Nicol said in a statement.
"The company expects to receive U.S. EPA approval soon, after which we can begin selling products into the U.S., the largest HVAC-R coatings market in the world, with our distributor partner Nu-Calgon."
