A subsidiary of Best Agrolife launches its new Pyraclostrobin product Defender in India

Seedlings India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Best Agrolife India, has been approved by the Central Insecticide Council (CIBRC) to produce an innovative formulation of Defender (30% Pymetrozine +10% Dinotefuran +20% Pyraclostrobin).

 

According to the company, this innovative formula will significantly enhance crop health and productivity, providing four times more protection than traditional solutions against fungal diseases such as Early blight, Tobobacco frog eye, Alternaria leaf spot and Alternaria Leaf Blight.

 

Pyraclostrobin was first discovered in 1993 by the German BASF company, is a combination of pyrazole structure methoxyacrylate broad spectrum fungicide, registered and listed in 2001, its mechanism is to inhibit mitochondrial respiration, resulting in cell death, so as to play a bactericidal purpose. It has good mixability and can be mixed with a variety of drugs, and has good compound effect with Difenoconazole, Metiram, and Dimethomorph, and also has synergistic effect.
