Eastern Coatings Show 2019 Call for Papers Deadline Extended

The Eastern Coatings Show (ECS) is seeking submissions from academia, government, and industry presenting novel research results in all aspects of industrial coating technology for presentations at its biennial conference, which will be held May 13-15, 2019 at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City – and extended the deadline.
The goal of the Eastern Coatings Show is to further the advancement of coatings technology and offer educational and technical presentations to create a profound understanding of the theory, science, manufacturing and marketing of coatings to highlight the improvement of coatings performance and functionality beyond traditional expectations.
Technical papers will be presented during show hours. The ECS Technical Committee will be responsible for coordinating the agenda and logistics of all speakers.
Criteria for presentations:
1.Abstract, Biography and Picture:Provide an abstract for the presentation, biography and photograph of the speaker to Chuck Shearer (charles.shearer@dsm.com) no later than Dec. 21, 2018. Incomplete submissions will not be considered for a speaker slot. Acceptance letters will be sent by Jan. 1, 2019. The presentation schedule will be published no later than Feb. 1, 2019;
2.Presentations: Send the PowerPoint presentation to Shearer on or before March 1, 2019. Copies of the presentations will be distributed to attendees, so each presenter should include his or her permission or denial along with their presentation deck;
3.Content: The ECS Technical Committee will review the presentations based on their technical content and contribution to furthering the advancement of coatings technology. The presentation format should be as close to a short course as possible. Presentations providing educational insights about emerging technology will be given priority. Although a company logo may appear on the slides, it is not appropriate for a presentation to be overly promotional or laden with trade names;
4.Length: Presentations should be no less than 20 minutes and no longer than 30 minutes.
