Shiseido Drunk Elephant is available in Sephora China retail stores for the first time
Well-known beauty retailer Sephora has officially launched clean skin care brand Drunk Elephant in all online channels and 250 physical stores in mainland China, and plans to expand the number of stores to 300 by the end of the year.
Alia Gogi, President of Sephora Asia said: “With the launch of the brand, this year will be an important year for Sephora as we leverage our global resources to diversify our brands and products in this key market. “From clean and sophisticated to approachable and luxurious, we are committed to curating the world’s most beloved brands, localizing them and introducing them exclusively to the Chinese beauty community we are passionate about. "
Drunk Elephant is now available on Sephora, Sephora digital e-commerce platforms and Drunk Elephant Tmall stores in major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu.
Founded in 2012 by Tiffany Masterson and launching its first product in 2013, Drunk Elephant has had an impressive growth trajectory since its launch. The brand was acquired by Japanese beauty group Shiseido in 2019 for $845 million.
"Since its launch in 2013, Drunk Elephant has been a hit in more than 40 markets. By introducing it into this vast and dynamic beauty market, we provide Chinese consumers with a high-quality, broad range of skin care products that are simple yet effective and cater to consumer needs to meet their specific needs," Gogi added.
