DKSH signs distribution agreement with India's TdB Labs

DKSH's Performance Materials business unit is a leading distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients. Business development, marketing, sales, logistics and distribution services for TdB Labs' range of dextran derivatives and other polysaccharides will be provided to pharmaceutical companies and diagnostic laboratories in India.

TdB Labs' product portfolio includes dextran derivatives, fluorescent and non-fluorescent polysaccharide derivatives, as well as derivatives of other polysaccharides such as polysucrose, inulin, hyaluronic acid, trehalose and hydroxyethyl starch. Application areas include permeability, drug delivery, biomaterials and colitis research as well as applications in clinical product processing. TdB Labs' polysaccharide derivatives are also used in diagnostic kits and as molecular markers, while dextran sulfate is used as an anti-caking agent in cell culture media.

TdB Labs has entrusted DKSH to develop its pharmaceutical business in India. This is driven by DKSH's extensive distribution network, highly specialized commercial and technical teams, and strong logistics and value-added service capabilities, including technical and regulatory support.
