Coca-Cola ditched aspartame for sucralose

Prior to this, the sweetener industry has experienced four major product changes from saccharin to ASPARTAME.Sucralose, by contrast, is almost the most perfect and competitive next-generation sweetener yet developed. As the only sweetener with Sucrose as raw material at present, it is 600 times sweeter than sucrose. It is safe, process-resistant and tastes very good. What is wonderful is that it cannot be absorbed by the human body, neither provides calories nor causes obesity.
As if on purpose, thales immediately teamed up with Johnson & Johnson to develop Splenda, a civilian product that identifies its ultimate competitor as sugar, a traditional condiment that has been used by humans for thousands of years.
There is no doubt that sucralose succeeded. In August 2004, Coca-Cola and Pepsi announced that sucralose would replace 50 percent of the sugar in some of their drinks.Sucralose has also become the leading sweetener in all new food and beverage product formulations, of which 50% contain only sucralose. As a result, global sugar sales fell by 11 per cent between 1999 and 2004 and rose by 16 per cent in 2006.
And terai also made a lot of money in the sucralose dominance process.By 2006, tele's "good" sugar had more than 90 percent of the global sucralose market and more than 50 percent of the low-calorie sweetener market in the United States.
But tarry's problem is that sucralose was approved too late in the United States. The application of the product patent in 1981, as a result of the United States food and drug administration (fda) hesitate and aspartame, it was not until 2005 in the field of general production permission, while the product patent has been overdue for two years, sucralose manufacturer from China, has started production of sucralose in its own way.
