Arkema to add UV/LED/EB technology lab at Kyoto Technical Center
Arkema announces the addition of a UV/LED/EB technology lab at the Arkema Kyoto Technical Center (KTC). This strategic move enhances the company's ability to innovate and meet customer needs for UV/LED/EB curable resins and additives.
UV /LED/EB curable resins and additives are designed for specialty coatings and adhesives applications. It includes advanced electronics, new energy, building energy efficiency and electric vehicle markets.
The expanded UV/EB testing capabilities at the Kyoto Technical Center enhance the company's ability to accelerate new business and product development for customers and partners.
“This expansion will strengthen the development of synergies and innovations across Arkema’s solutions portfolio and promote Sartomer® UV-LED and EB curing technologies in Japan, which have very low VOC content and low carbon emission intensity.” “The new UV-LED-EB lab will accelerate the development of local sustainable solutions, supporting local and global customers in designing their next-generation solutions,” said Shinichi Sato, President and Representative Director of Arkema KK,
