Chinese SBS Products (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene Block Copolymer) By Mexico Anti-Dumping Investigation, International Trade Again!
On August 7, 2024, the Mexican Ministry of Economy officially issued a notice stating that, according to Mexican producer Dynasol Elastomeros, S.A. de C.V. The Ministry of Economy of Mexico has decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation procedure against styryl-butadiene-styrene block copolymer (Spanish: caucho termoplastico estireno butadieno estireno, SBS) originating in China. The dumping investigation covers a period of time from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024, while the damages investigation covers a period of time from April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2024.
The TIGIE tax codes of the products involved in this investigation include 3903.90.99, 4002.11.99, 4002.19.02, 4002.19.99 and 4002.99.99.
According to the relevant laws and regulations of Mexico, the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Mexico has the right to retroactively impose anti-dumping duties on products that have been declared to Mexico within 90 days prior to the implementation of the provisional anti-dumping measures.
For this survey, the Ministry of Economy of Mexico welcomes all stakeholders to obtain the questionnaire through the designated website, email or in person to the Ministry of Economy and actively participate in the survey.
