Celanese Opens Electronic Ink and Pastes Lab in Shenzhen, China
Celanese Corporation, a global specialty materials and chemicals company, announced the opening of its Micromax Electronic Ink and Pastes Lab in Shenzhen, China.
The lab will provide technical services and application development for thick film pastes and low temperature co-fired ceramic products, with comprehensive processing and characterization capabilities, serving the automotive, consumer electronics, passive components and telecommunications industries.
The Micromax Shenzhen lab covers an area of more than 300 square meters and is equipped with 100 advanced equipment, including material storage, sample preparation, printing and coating, multi-temperature firing, and comprehensive testing of samples through high-resolution 3D microscopes and high-precision measurement microscopes.
Pedro Van Hoecke, Vice President of Global Technology and Innovation at Celanese, said: "The Micromax Shenzhen lab reflects our commitment to our customers and highlights our key role in the Chinese thick film electronic materials market. The lab will also enhance the synergy of high-performance engineering materials and electronic pastes to bring more innovative solutions to the industry."
The Micromax Shenzhen lab is an important facility in Micromax's global R&D network, with excellent collaborative experimental capabilities and sharing resources with R&D facilities in the United States and Asia Pacific.
