EU Decides Caffeine is No Longer Considered a Basic Substance!
According to the latest news published in the Official Journal of the European Union, on October 31, 2024, the European Commission officially published regulation (EU) 2024/2766. This regulation is based on the provisions of Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council, which decided not to list caffeine as an essential substance. The regulations shall come into force on the 20th day from the date of promulgation.
