Silab develops natural active ingredient Liftilience
Silab's new patented product is a film-forming natural active ingredient derived from chestnuts. Thanks to its optimized firming effect and adhesive properties, it offers multiple fast and long-lasting beauty benefits for the face and body.
Liftilience is a multivalent tensor of plant origin. It is extracted from local chestnuts and then functionalized by Silab.
To give Liftilience its strong tensing effect and enhanced adhesion, Silab uses a unique technology - FHB Technology - derived from the company's expertise in biopolymerization.
This technological innovation, combined with controlled hydrolysis and the addition of ionic charges, enables the transformation of specifically selected natural biopolymers into functionalized helical biopolymers.
According to Silab, Liftilience has a fast and long-lasting effect, which is reflected in both the face and body care and cosmetics categories.
"As a beauty enhancer, it works from the first minute of application to the face: the skin becomes visibly smoother, the complexion becomes brighter and fresher, thus facilitating a healthy glow effect all day long," says the supplier of cosmetic active ingredients.
These benefits were confirmed in clinical trials with volunteers, who reported that their skin became smoother, more attractive and more radiant at the end of the day. A near-velvety softness was also felt on the body for up to 4 hours after application.
Silab also emphasizes that Liftilience acts as a makeup modifier when added to foundation or primer formulas. In fact, it significantly improves the staying power of foundation and eyeshadow for up to 6 hours after application.
Silab chose chestnut as the raw material for Liftilience and chose to maintain a local partnership with a producer certified in organic farming. The company thus guarantees strict traceability to the land and is committed to virtuous farming that complies with good agricultural practices and protects ecosystems.
Liftilience is recommended for use in all firming care products at a dosage of 0.16% to 0.64%. The product is available in preservative-free powders, complies with biodiversity regulations and has a 100% natural origin content (ISO 16128). The product complies with international cosmetic regulations (Europe, United States, China, Japan, etc.).
