Eli Lilly China Executive Departure: Neuroscience VP to Leave on 14th
Eli Lilly China announced a significant personnel change on January 7, 2025. President and General Manager Huzur Devletsah informed all employees that Mr. Jiang Yifei, Vice President of the Neuroscience Division, has decided to leave the company to seek new career opportunities. Mr. Jiang's departure date is set for January 14, 2025, next Tuesday.
Mr. Jiang has held several senior management positions at Eli Lilly China, including serving as Marketing Director for the South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa markets, as well as Vice President of the Diabetes Division. He is particularly known for driving the market launch and sustained growth of key products such as Dulaglutide in the diabetes sector.
In 2021, Mr. Jiang was promoted to Vice President of the Diabetes Division. In October 2024, he further took on the role as head of the newly established Neuroscience Division, preparing for the launch of the Alzheimer's disease new drug Donanemab. In December 2024, Donanemab was successfully approved in China for the treatment of mild cognitive impairment and mild dementia due to Alzheimer's disease (AD).
When announcing Mr. Jiang's departure, President and General Manager Huzur Devletsah highly praised his contributions to Eli Lilly China.
