Oriflame to Transition to Contract Manufacturing Model and Close Polish Plant

ECHEMI 2025-01-16

Oriflame announced that it will transfer European production from its existing manufacturing plant in Poland to a "carefully selected" manufacturing partner in the EU.

The Polish plant will close in 2027 and existing committed orders will be fulfilled or transferred to new partners.

Oriflame will have access to more diverse technologies, expertise and advanced manufacturing processes compared to the current single European production site in Warsaw.

Anna Malmhake, CEO of Oriflame Group, revealed: "The cosmetics market continues to evolve at a faster pace, driven by technological advances and changes in consumer demand. With today's announcement, we are evolving our business model to ensure we have the ability to deliver more innovative products at a faster pace to our global network of entrepreneurs and consumers."
