Lanxess Unveils Online Version of LewaPlus Software at Aquatech Amsterdam
At the Aquatech exhibition in Amsterdam, Lanxess will introduce the online version of its LewaPlus software, designed for the planning and design of ion exchange systems. This new cloud-based solution will complement the existing desktop version, with the pre-release focusing initially on water demineralization calculations and plans for additional modules in the future. As always, Lanxess will provide this software free of charge.
The launch of LewaPlus online represents a significant advancement in user accessibility. “We plan to offer an online version of the calculation tool for LewaPlus users,” said Dr. Stefan Neufeind, Head of Business Development and Applications for the Liquid Purification Technologies (LPT) business unit. Users will benefit from accessing the program via the internet without needing to install it on their local machines. The tool will be compatible with all major web browsers and can be accessed on various devices, including tablets and smartphones. Additionally, the software will feature an export function, enabling users to download calculation results for documentation and data storage.
LewaPlus is a comprehensive design software that assists in the planning and configuration of ion exchange systems, allowing users to evaluate multiple system setups. This flexibility is crucial for the water treatment and food and beverage industries, where sustainability is a key objective. With LewaPlus, users can optimize system configurations, enhance production efficiency, and minimize the consumption of chemicals and water.
