Perstorp Launches Neptem Range of Emulsifiers for Waterborne Alkyd Technology

Perstorp, a leading global innovator of specialty chemicals and a wholly owned subsidiary of Malaysia’s Petronas Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG), has launched the Neptem range of alkyds, a suite of emulsifier solutions that enable the next generation of high-performance, low-VOC waterborne alkyds.

Perstorp developed this portfolio to reduce the carbon footprint and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) of alkyd formulations by enabling a seamless transition to waterborne alkyds.

By providing technical support, Perstorp positions Neptem as an alkyd product and partner, ensuring that resin producers can get formulation assistance and benefit from a seamless transition to waterborne technology.
