Shuangta: The current production capacity of pea protein is about 70,000 tons, and it is planned to expand production by 20% every year
Recently, Shuangta Foods said in an on-site survey of institutions that the company's current production capacity of pea protein is about 70,000 tons, accounting for 30%-40% of the global pea protein industry, and accounting for about 60% of domestic pea protein production capacity. In the future, the company will expand its pea protein production capacity at a rate of 20% per year.
Statistics show that the main business of Shuangta Foods mainly includes pea protein, vermicelli, and dietary fiber. In 2020, operating income was RMB 2,019,632,594.36, a year-on-year decrease of 4.81%; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was RMB 352,597,087.01, a year-on-year increase of 88.51%. In the first quarter of this year, operating income was 468 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.73%; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 99.589 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 41.03%; basic earnings per share were 0.08 yuan.
