EU Approves Formic Acid as an Active Substance for Biocidal Products in Product Type 6
According to the Official Journal of the European Union, on May 27, 2025, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) 2025/1043, approving formic acid as an active substance for use in biocidal products of product type 6.
This regulation will take effect on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
