EU Delays Approval of 1R-Trans Phenothrin for Biocidal Products in Product Type 18
According to the Official Journal of the European Union, on May 26, 2025, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) 2025/950, delaying the approval of 1R-trans phenothrin for use in biocidal products of product type 18. This regulation will take effect on the twentieth day following its publication.
As per the regulation, the approval period for 1R-trans phenothrin has been postponed until February 29, 2028.
