This Week's Aniline Market Continues to Rise (2.23-2.28) in China

ECHEMI 2026-03-01

February 28 news

I. Price Trends

According to the commodity market analysis system, the price of Aniline has continued to rise after the holiday. On February 23, the market price of Aniline in China was 8,845 CNY per ton, and on February 28, the price was 9,145 CNY per ton, an increase of 3.39% during the period, and a decrease of 0.19% compared to the same period last year.

II. Analysis and Commentary

Following the holiday, the aniline market continued to strengthen, with robust domestic demand and numerous export orders. Supported by strong demand, companies experienced smooth sales, driving inventory levels down to low levels. During the week, aniline prices broke through 9,000 CNY per ton.

On the cost side: The price of pure benzene closely follows crude oil fluctuations. Downstream buyers are procuring based on demand, primarily taking advantage of lower prices. Inventories at major ports in East China continue to rise, generally keeping spot prices under pressure and limiting the extent of any price increases.

III. Future Market Outlook

The current aniline market has a good trading atmosphere. With major Chinese plants scheduled for maintenance in March, the supply side is expected to support high-level operations in the short-term aniline market.
