Titanium dioxide companies vie for cross-border investment in iron phosphate projects
Since the beginning of this year, many titanium dioxide manufacturers have used their own advantages to lay out or increase the new energy industry chain such as iron phosphate, establish a circular economy and extend the industry chain. Iron phosphate can produce lithium iron phosphate, and lithium iron phosphate, as one of the cathode materials, can be applied to power batteries, energy storage equipment and other fields. In terms of downstream market demand, according to the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance data, in 2019, lithium iron phosphate batteries accounted for 32.1% of the installed capacity of power batteries. By the first half of 2021, this number will increase to 42.3%. It is expected that lithium iron phosphate There is still great potential for future growth.

A reporter from Shanghai Securities News noticed that not only Longbai Group, but many titanium dioxide manufacturers have used their own advantages this year to lay out or increase the new energy industry chain such as iron phosphate to establish a circular economy and extend the industry chain.
In February of this year, China Nuclear Titanium Dioxide announced that it plans to invest 10 billion in the field of lithium iron phosphate. Ananda said in an investigation by institutional investors that the construction period of the 50,000-ton high-pressure iron phosphate project of Tongling Nayuan Technology and Hunan Yuneng Co., Ltd. will be about 12 months. If the environmental impact assessment, planning and other government permits are approved, the construction period will be about 12 months.
