Recently, "Forward AM", a new 3D printing brand under the international chemical giant BASF, joined hands with Songjiang 3D printing design service company Xuberance to establish the Asia Pacific Additive Manufacturing Technology Center (AMTC), which is located in Lingang Songjiang Science and Technology City.

The technology center will bring together the expertise of "Forward AM" and Xieshengsheng in the field of additive manufacturing solutions and materials, build a technology hub for the additive manufacturing industry, and promote 3D printing technology innovation in the Asia-Pacific region.

François Minec, managing director of BASF 3D Printing Solutions Co., Ltd., who participated in the online video "cloud", said that the establishment of a new additive manufacturing technology center in Songjiang, Shanghai is an important step in BASF's strategic plan, allowing BASF to serve customers in the Asia-Pacific region. Providing more comprehensive services, from consulting services, professional design services to direct part printing using high-performance materials, the Additive Manufacturing Technology Center will become a key hub for the additive manufacturing industry in the Asia-Pacific region, enhancing BASF's ability to innovate together with customers.

According to reports, BASF will equip the technology center with more than 20 additive manufacturing equipment this time, and will use a variety of mainstream technologies including fuse manufacturing and selective laser sintering to meet the specific needs of different industrial applications.
