Dye Market: Flashing Export Market and Weak Trend Came Back
Introduction: The export volume of dye jumped in March, but fell to a low level in April. The weakness in the dye market appeared in the traditional peak season.
Compared with the huge fluctuations in 2015, the dye market moved flatly in 2016 and 2017, especially the disperse dye and reactive dye. Moreover, the stable export price stabilized the export volume. The stable price meant the sober sentiments in the market. Most traders and downstream users purchased on the standing material need.
In April 2017, the export volume of dye fell to a low level with the declines in dye prices. The export volume of disperse dye in April was 10,169.54mt, down 12.40% month on month. The export volume of reactive dye was 3,648.78mt, down 10.18% month on month.
