Beihai, Yinhai, Guangxi, African swine plague area to lift the blockade

The Ministry of agriculture and rural affairs received the report from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region agricultural and rural department in April 11th, and was approved by the appraisal and acceptance. The the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region swine flu epidemic area in Yinhai District of Beihai city was lifted. After the outbreak of the African swine plague in Yinhai District of Beihai.
According to the emergency plan for the African swine plague and the technical specifications for African swine fever prevention and control, measures were taken to deal with the epidemic, such as blockade, culling, disinfection and harmless treatment. No new cases and positive surveillance were found in the epidemic area after 6 weeks of continuous surveillance and investigation after the culling of live pigs was completed in the epidemic area.* In from April 5th to 8th, Beihai agricultural and rural Bureau organized experts to conduct on-site assessment and acceptance of the epidemic area, and the results were in line with the relevant provisions on lifting the blockade in the epidemic areas, and the above African plague situation had been extinguished. The local government officially lifted the blockade on April 9 at 0:00. The Ministry of agriculture and rural requires local animal husbandry and veterinary departments to continue to strengthen surveillance and take active preventive measures to prevent the recurrence of African swine plague.
