On April 11, "5G + AI" technology contributed to the high-quality development of safety production in Chemical Industry Park- the Symposium and signing ceremony of Xin'an pilot demonstration project of safety positioning for chemical workers was held in Chuanhua Building, Hangzhou. Xin'an Chemical Industry, Chuanhua Intelligent Manufacturing Technology, Tianyi Zhilian, China Telecom and Huawei have joined hands to carry out "5G+AI" pilot demonstration research and application in Mamu Park of Xin'an Chemical Industry.

According to the data of the State Safety Supervision Department, there are nearly 300,000 dangerous chemicals production and operation units in China, which have a large workload of factory patrol inspection, many blind areas, weak ability of safety facilities and supervision means, automatic identification and disposal, and weak ability of safety guarantee. In terms of the frequency and number of accidents and casualties, the situation is still not optimistic; in terms of the causes of accidents, people's unsafe behavior and the unsafe state of things are the key to the problem.

Xin'an Chemical Industry last year put forward how to use wireless technology to achieve the requirement of "safe positioning of personnel in chemical industry park". Its main technical difficulties are: there are many typical areas, such as hillsides, office buildings, production areas, warehouses, chimneys, open spaces, outside areas, etc. The working conditions are complex and harsh; industrial labels such as explosion-proof, static-proof, water-proof and corrosion-resistant must be met; Active and passive technologies, ultra-long endurance and fast positioning need to be supported; three-dimensional high-precision positioning of the whole park needs to be realized on the premise of acceptable total investment cost, and so on. These are all difficult problems in the world, and there are no mature cases yet. In order to solve this problem, Xin'an Chemical Industry, Chuanhua Intelligent Technology, Tianyi Zhilian, China Telecom (Zhejiang) and Huawu came together earlier this year to form a joint innovation cluster team. Through nearly three months of field research and technical exchanges, a preliminary solution using "5G+AI" technology has been formed in terminal information acquisition, wireless transmission, safety and explosion-proof, intelligent identification, monitoring, guidance, early warning, rescue and so on. It is hoped that the "zero" effect of safety accidents due to personnel positioning problems can be achieved through the development and application of actual scenarios. The joint team believes that Xin'an Chemical Industry has accumulated a lot of good experience in safe production; China Telecom and Huawei have core advantages in development and operation of 5G technology; Chuanhua Intelligent Manufacturing Technology has advantages in AI technology and system technology integration; Tianyi Intelligent Alliance has advantages in resource integration in the field of industrial Internet. Based on Xin'an Chemical Industry Pilot Demonstration, specific solutions and related standards can be put forward through strong and strong alliance to give full play to their respective advantages, which can solve the difficult problem of personnel safety positioning and help the high-quality development of safety production in China's chemical industry parks.

According to the requirements of the cooperation agreement, the pilot demonstration plan is to build a "5G+AI" chemical industry park personnel safety positioning test area before the end of this year. Due to the long-term nature of this work, the Five Parties will establish the "5G + AI" Joint Laboratory for Industrial Scene Applications, which will contribute more new technologies and applications to the high-quality development of industrial enterprises.
