It fully demonstrates the self-reliance of China's titanium dioxide industry and the large amount of scientific and technological achievements it has created. It has made an indelible contribution to the development of China's titanium dioxide industry. At present, it has become a "tool book" loved by the majority of technical cadres in China's titanium dioxide industry.

The Institute of Coatings Industry of the Ministry of Chemical Industry is not only the technical exporting unit of China's paint industry, but also the technical exporting unit of China's Pigment (titanium dioxide) industry. Before the reform and opening up and the introduction of technology, the technological progress and sources of titanium dioxide industry in China mainly depended on the technology and information provided by the Institute of Coatings Industry of the Ministry of Chemical Industry. The technology of separation and recovery, multi-effect concentration of titanium liquor, waste heat recovery and utilization of calcined tail gas, MVR low-temperature concentration of titanium liquor, continuous acidolysis, water washing of metatitanic acid membrane, membrane treatment of wastewater and waste acid, and co-production of titanium dioxide with titanium ferrite and calcium titanate are advanced technologies for energy saving, consumption reduction, environmental management and clean and civilized production of titanium dioxide industry in China. At the meeting of Editorial Committee, experts also issued their own requirements for running the new era of Titanium Dioxide magazine. Zhang Jianping, deputy director, first proposed that Titanium Dioxide Magazine is the only practical technical magazine with the production and application of Titanium Dioxide as its theme in China and even in the world. In the future, there should be a Chinese-English comparative publication, and I hope that some foreign literature on titanium dioxide can be applied to Titanium dioxide magazine, which mentions the introduction of inorganic pigments in the foreign periodical "Color Material" of Japan. Director Bi Sheng of the National Chemical Industry Productivity Promotion Center immediately charged Zhou Lei of the Component Center for collecting and summarizing work. When Qiu Jianting, deputy director of the National Advisory Committee of Experts on Titanium Dioxide Industry, asked about the current circulation of Titanium Dioxide magazine, the Titanium Dioxide Sub-Center informed us that only 1000 copies were available, and considered that the current circulation was still small. When asked about the coverage of readers, the sub-center answered that only titanium dioxide and related equipment enterprises were involved, Qiu Jianting, deputy director, believed that the intermediaries and users of titanium dioxide should also be involved. Expert Li Zuocheng, editor of Titanium Dioxide magazine, thinks that Titanium Dioxide magazine is only an internal magazine at present. Many technicians in Titanium Dioxide enterprises do not submit targeted publications when rating their professional titles, which limits the development of professional and technical channels for many technicians.
