According to the guiding opinions on promoting the development of "Internet +" smart energy, has been promoting pilot and demonstration work for 2016-2018. In 2019-2025 years, we have been promoting diversification and scale development. This means that the energy Internet industry is now entering a large-scale practice stage. Recently, at the first energy internet global innovation and entrepreneurship summit held in Chengdu and the Tsinghua-Sichuan Science and Technology Achievement docking meeting, many industry experts and business people confirmed to reporters that the practical application of energy Internet industry is being fully developed. According to the plan for guiding the development of "Internet +" smart energy development, the industry will enter the stage of "diversification and scale" in 2019-2025 years. In other words, on the basis of pilot and demonstration in the past five years, the energy Internet has moved from "concept" to "landing". 

Facing the huge market, why has the energy Internet not blowout lately, or even not formed the industrial scale? Speaking of the current situation, many people have raised such questions. Some people say that the energy Internet is still at the conceptual level, while others say that the boom has faded. But I don't think that's the case. Gao Feng, executive vice president of the Institute of Energy Internet Innovation, Tsinghua University, told reporters that industrial applications are not falling short of expectations at present, on the contrary, they have been progressing steadily and continuously. "From 2016 to 2018, the country took the lead in water testing through 55 demonstration projects, which is not only a process of accumulating experience, exploring patterns, but also a process of trial and error. Starting this year, industrial promotion will enter the stage of diversification and scale.

In this regard, the National Energy Internet Development White Paper 2018, compiled by the Institute of Energy Internet Research of Tsinghua University and the National Energy Internet Industry Technology Innovation Alliance, is also proof. Statistical analysis shows that although there are differences in cross-border ways and fields, many enterprises have turned their attention to this field. Among them, it includes the transformation from producing single energy to supplying multiple energy sources, from energy production enterprises to energy service enterprises, from single energy enterprises to multi-functional integrated energy service providers and other forms of participation. In addition to the energy industry itself, Internet companies have also taken the opportunity to enter the energy services sector. "Energy Internet is mainly to solve two kinds of problems, the interconnection of energy equipment and the transformation of the whole energy system with Internet thinking. But in either case, the development can not be separated from the technical support of big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and so on. Ma Junli, chief expert of energy industry development of Huawei Technology Co., Ltd., told reporters. According to Ma Junli, the energy Internet industry will go through three main stages: automation control, regional energy Internet and global energy internet. From the application of digital acquisition to automation and networking control, to the use of Internet technology to build an open framework of local area network, and finally to achieve the most economical and optimal energy use of the whole network. "At present, the industry is still in the second stage, and the prospects are considerable."

"The development of the energy Internet industry has never been achieved overnight, nor do we ever think that it will mature in the short term. But to be sure, its application is by no means as pessimistic as some people think. Once the industry is formed, it will surely usher in a rapid outbreak. Peak further said. At this stage, practical problems such as practicality, synergy and specifications still need to be improved.

What experience has been accumulated in the so-called "trial and error"? Reporters with a number of people in the industry in the exchange found that "practical" is their favorite primary factor.

"As a typical urban power grid operator, the core concern is how new technologies can improve the energy efficiency of power grid operation, and the most important words are"fast"and"real". We will expedite the deployment of the recognized new technologies on the basis of investment capability, and we will carry out the exploration of the new technologies after preliminary pilot and demonstration to confirm their effectiveness. Li Rui, deputy general manager of Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau Co., Ltd., gave an example. Shenzhen Power Grid is responsible for the daily security inspection of 350-370 working areas, which used to be carried out by a team of 70 people. With the digital grid platform, it can not only monitor and control all operations remotely, but also add many functions such as potential problems prediction, dangerous behavior alarm and so on. "Such applications are more popular than technologies developed solely for the sake of technology." The existing deficiencies are also reflected in synergy. Peak frankly, barriers are still one of the main factors restricting development. In the past, different forms of energy, such as heat, electricity and gas, have not yet been opened up and separated; in the past, even the different departments of the same enterprise still have barriers. "How to unify ideas, transform ideas and truly achieve coupled development is the bottleneck that needs to be broken through urgently at present. Developing energy Internet can't be just a station.
