On June 27, the Shandong Provincial People's Government announced the list of the last batch of chemical parks and specialized chemical parks, marking the successful completion of the identification of chemical parks in Shandong Province. Seven chemical parks in our city ranked second in number in the province. The confirmation of park is an important measure for the transformation and upgrading of chemical industry safety in Shandong Province. In this storm of chemical industry transformation, Shandong Province identified 73 chemical industry parks and 11 specialized chemical industry parks in four batches. Seven chemical parks in Binzhou Lubei Chemical Industry Park, Bincheng Chemical Industry Park, Zhanhua Economic Development Zone Chemical Industry Park, Yangxin Chemical Industry Park, Boxing Chemical Industry Park, Wudi Xinhai Chemical Industry Park and Binzhou Lingang Chemical Industry Park have been recognized as provincial chemical parks by the provincial government. The number of chemical parks ranks second in the province, which is mentioned as "double recruitment and double introduction" for industrial development and "double attraction".

It is reported that since November 2017, Shandong Province has promulgated three standards of chemical industry parks, professional parks and key monitoring points, forming three levels of Park management, in accordance with the requirements of the special action for the transformation and upgrading of chemical industry safety. According to the requirements of the Provincial Regulations on the Recognition and Management of Chemical Industrial Parks, the identification of chemical industrial parks should include "far from the main urban area of the city, not in the leading wind direction of the main urban area", "100% safe disposal rate of hazardous wastes", "centralized safety, environmental monitoring and control system" and so on, while meeting 12 necessary conditions. In terms of identification procedure, the Measures specify eight categories of basic materials submitted by the park management departments to the county (city, district) and municipal governments with districts, and organize the preliminary examination by the county (city, district) or municipal government with districts, and grade the parks according to the scoring standards, and report the parks meeting the identification standards step by step with official documents. The Shandong Special Action Office for Chemical Industry organizes relevant member units and experts to review, inspect and evaluate the identification materials reported by the municipal government. The list of the zones to be identified is determined based on the overall planning and grading of the development of the chemical industry in Shandong Province. The list is submitted to the leading group for publicity after research and approval, and the report is published to the Shandong Government for research, determination and publication without objection. 。 Since the confirmation of the chemical park, the municipal Party Committee and the municipal government have attached great importance to it. The leaders in charge of the city are on top. The main leaders of the city have personally dispatched and coordinated. Facing the disadvantageous situation that only 75 comprehensive parks have been retained in the province and that the general planning approval of the city and the relevant counties and cities is late, the special action office of the municipal chemical industry has been closely followed and actively strived for, and finally achieved good results.
