On March 14, the website of the National Centre for Food Safety Risk Assessment released news that arabinoxylan, a declared new food ingredient, had passed the technical review of the expert review committee and was now open for comments.

According to the information, arabinoxylan is a water-insoluble polysaccharide made from sugarcane bagasse, wheat bran, corn husk and other grassy plants, after pretreatment, edible alkali extraction, dealkalization and concentration, neutralization and precipitation, washing and purification, drying and other processes.

This raw material is mainly used as one of the sources of dietary fibre.

Among them, 2.612 million tonnes of dry dairy products, an increase of 17.7% year-on-year, with an import value of US$11.488 billion, an increase of 11.0% year-on-year; 1.2961 million tonnes of liquid milk, an increase of 20.9% year-on-year, with an import value of US$1.869 billion, an increase of 36.7% year-on-year.

2021, the cumulative export of all types of dairy products was 44,833.92 tonnes, an increase of 4.4% year-on-year, with an export value of 302,622,400 USD, an increase of 37.5% year-on-year.
