GM Thailand's monthly sales exceed US$30 million

GM announced that in February 2022, the company's Thailand plant will achieve sales of US$33 million, an increase of 309% over the same period last year. In January this year, the sales of the Thai factory exceeded US$30 million for the first time, and the monthly sales of the factory exceeded US$30 million in a row, marking the continuous improvement of overseas revenue and profitability.

It is understood that GM's Thailand factory and Cambodia factory are the two major production bases established overseas by the company to seize the opportunity of the "Belt and Road" initiative. Among them, the construction scale of the Thailand project includes an annual output of 1 million all-steel radial tires and 6 million semi-steel radial tires, and has now entered the stage of full production. Cambodia factory is under construction. At present, the profitability of the Thailand factory has been increasing year by year. The factory mainly undertakes orders from overseas markets such as the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Relying on the three major production bases in China, Thailand and Cambodia, GM is striving to seize the global trade market.

As GM's first overseas production base, the Thailand factory has maintained a boom in both production and sales since it was put into operation. GM shares said that in 2022, the Thailand base will give full play to its production capacity advantages, and the profitability of foreign trade business will be further enhanced, laying a solid foundation for the company's performance growth.
