Agricultural Mechanization Helps Vitalize Rural Areas

Gaoqiao Town, Changsha County, held a training program on agricultural machinery safety production and agricultural production mechanization in order to improve the level of agricultural mechanization and gradually promote agriculture through science and technology. The contents include rice transplanting by machine, machine tillage, machine harvesting, plant protection and precision fertilization of rice.
In the field, more than 120 peasant representatives studied advanced agricultural mechanization production technology of agricultural machinery such as riding transplanter, harvester, rotary tiller, fertilizer applicator and plant protection aircraft. The technicians introduced the types, parameters, performances and technical operation essentials of various machines in detail to the peasant friends by means of follow-up explanation and on-site questions and answers. The safety of agricultural machinery production, transplanting technology of straw returning integrated machine, drilling technology of straw returning integrated machine, mechanized planting technology of whole grain production and mechanized planting technology of high efficiency plant protection were emphasized.
"Science and technology are very powerful. Today, we have learned some key technologies, such as seedling raising management, field tillage, transplanter debugging, pest and weed control, which are very useful for our field planting." Luo Yongtang, the farmer's representative, was impressed. Through the on-site explanation and operation demonstration, the people could understand the performance of modern agricultural machinery comprehensively and intuitively, and promote the level of agricultural mechanization to continuously improve.
"Such activities have strong practicability and operability for our large grain-growing households. We can try to adopt the whole-process mechanized production technology, constantly study the methods of increasing production, and strive to increase rice income." Yi Xinyi, a big grain grower in Jinqiao Village, Gaoqiao Town, said that he had made great efforts to cultivate grain.
