According to Fuzhou Evening News, the off-season fishing season has ended for nearly a week, and the Fuzhou seafood market has been bustling again after a period of silence. Reporters interviewed yesterday learned that with the increase of seafood arrivals in Hong Kong, the supply of fresh seafood in Fuzhou has risen rapidly and the price has continued to decline. Yesterday, traders in Fuzhou Strait Aquatic Products Trading Center and Xiying Li Aquatic Wholesale Market told reporters that with the arrival of fresh seafood, they began to be busy again.

"Our new seafood products are mainly white crabmeat, sardines, hairtail and mackerel. The supply of shrimps such as crab, orchid crab and sea shrimps is also very abundant."  A merchant at Xiying Li Fisheries Wholesale Market said that the main seafood on the market is offshore fishing. Ocean fishing products will be on the market in the middle of this month, and the variety of seafood will be increased. The merchants of Fuzhou Strait Aquatic Products Trade Center also indicated that squid and cuttlefish have arrived in large quantities. According to different specifications, the wholesale price of squid is from 13 yuan to 22 yuan per 500 grams, and the wholesale price of cuttlefish is from 11 yuan to 23 yuan per 500 grams.

The supply of seafood has increased dramatically and the price has declined rapidly. Reporter interviews learned that the previous period of time every 500 grams of female crab to hundreds of yuan, now at the rate of 120 yuan a day in the price reduction. It used to cost hundreds of yuan per 500 grams to catch nine knots of shrimp at sea, but now it only costs tens of yuan. It is reported that some sea areas and some fishing methods will be lifted this year on August 16 and September 16, and the price of seafood will drop.
