Localized purchasing rate of nutritional meals in Guizhou is more than 80%

Recently, the Ministry of Education of Guizhou Province and other eight departments jointly issued the Guiding Opinions on Deepening the Work of Integration of School and Agriculture to Promote the Industrial Revolution in Rural Areas and Eliminate Poverty and Attack the Hard Poverty. The opinions put forward that starting from the autumn semester of 2019, we should comprehensively promote the production of students'nutritional meals in Guizhou and strive to realize the The proportion of agricultural products purchased in rural primary and secondary schools (kindergartens) canteens in counties (cities, districts and special zones) in Guizhou reached more than 60%, and more than 80% in 2020.
Opinions are clear. At the stage of poverty alleviation, schools and canteens in Guizhou Province should give priority to purchasing agricultural products produced in deep poverty-stricken areas, establish and improve platforms and networks for purchasing and selling agricultural products at all levels, and promote the increase of "school-farmer combination" planting and breeding bases (cooperatives). Opinions put forward that the localization of agricultural products procurement in school canteens should be promoted to high schools and colleges in Guizhou province at the same time, and the proportion of agricultural products procurement in poverty-stricken areas in Guizhou province should be further increased. Departments at all levels should supervise the production, purchase and distribution of agricultural products for students'nutritional meals throughout the whole process, strengthen the quality to ensure safety, prevent unqualified and substandard agricultural products from entering schools, and ensure the safety of students' food.
