The area of the pig plague to lift the blockade

Recently, the Ministry of agriculture and rural affairs received a report from the the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region agricultural and rural department, which was assessed and accepted, and the the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region pestilence area in Hong Kong District of Guigang City was lifted.

After the outbreak of the African swine plague in Guigang City, Guigang City, according to the emergency plan for the African swine plague and the technical specifications for African swine fever prevention and control, some measures were taken, such as blocking, killing, disinfecting and harmless treatment. No new cases and positive surveillance were found in the epidemic area after 6 weeks of continuous surveillance and investigation. Guigang Agricultural and Rural Bureau organized experts to conduct on-site assessment and acceptance of the epidemic area. The results of acceptance conformed to the relevant provisions on the lifting of the blockade of the epidemic area. The local government has officially lifted the blockade of the epidemic area. The Ministry of agriculture and rural affairs requires local animal husbandry and veterinary departments to continue to strengthen surveillance and take active preventive measures to prevent the recurrence of African swine plague.
