Polyethylene oxide developed jointly by Nebular Chemicals and Chinese Academy of Sciences ranks third in the world in production scale. With independent patents, the annual production of 50,000 tons series dispersant products ranks first in Asia. The gasoline antiknock products independently developed have been designated as special products by CNPC. Self-developed energy-saving and anti-wear hydraulic oil, environment-friendly automotive coolant, hydraulic oil, lubricating oil, gasoline and diesel antistatic agent, antioxidant, acrylonitrile catalyst, polyethylene catalyst and other products, all indicators meet or exceed the standards of similar imported products. Among them, polyethylene catalyst and other products occupy half of the domestic market. Its independently innovative nationalized products for China's petroleum, petrochemical, automobile manufacturing, as well as papermaking, lighting, paint, textile, ceramics, construction, medicine, daily chemical and other industries to reduce procurement costs by more than 10 billion yuan.

Nebula Chemical Industry produces environmental friendly antifreeze, lubricants, hydraulic oils, brake fluids, cleaning fluids and other automotive chemicals with the largest production scale in Northeast China, reducing the procurement cost for the automotive manufacturing industry by billions of yuan.

In 2004, Nebula Chemical and PetroChina Jihua Group Co., Ltd. jointly established a mixed ownership enterprise-Jihua Group Oil Chemical Co., Ltd.
