In August, the output of industrial raw coal in Ningxia was 6.223 million tons.

According to the Ningxia Statistical Bureau, in August 2019, the output of industrial raw coal above the scale of Ningxia increased by 2.9% year-on-year, 0.7 percentage points faster than that in July, and 93,000 tons more annually, up by 1.52%.

In January-August 2019, the output of industrial raw coal above the scale of the whole region was 48.5 million tons, down 1.0% year on year, and the decline was 0.6 percentage points narrower than that in January-July.

Among them, the average bituminous coal is 44.418 million tons, down by 1.5%; coking bituminous coal is 24.62 million tons, down by 5.5%; anthracite is 1.62 million tons, up by 22.9%.

In January-August, the sales of industrial raw coal above the scale of the whole region reached 44.952 million tons, an increase of 1.1% over the same period of last year. By the end of August, there were 3774,000 tons of raw coal in stock and 20 days of stock turnover. In addition, from January to August, the output of industrial coke above the scale was 5.24 million tons, an increase of 8.9% over the same period of last year.

In August, industrial power generation in the whole region was 15.75 billion kWh, an increase of 13.6% over the same period last year. From January to August, the industrial power generation of the whole district was 111.78 billion kwh, up 7.2% year-on-year, 0.9 percentage points faster than that from January to July. Among them, industrial power generation above the region's scale reached 109.99 billion kWh, an increase of 6.9%.

In terms of power generation types, in January-August, the area's thermal power output was 92.08 billion kWh, an increase of 9.4% over the same period last year, 0.6 percentage points faster than in January-July. Hydropower, wind power, solar energy and other renewable energy generating capacity dropped by 2.0% compared with the same period in January-July. Among them, wind power generated by 10.9 billion kWh decreased by 11.9%; solar power generated by 7.42 billion kWh increased by 15.6%; hydroelectric power generated by 1.38 billion kWh increased by 5.6%.
