At the same time, China will continue to adjust its coal consumption structure, focus on developing clean coal and electricity, and vigorously reduce bulk coal consumption. In the past two years, China's coal consumption is lower than 4.24 billion tons in 2013. During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, coal consumption in key areas of the Yangtze River Delta, Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and Shandong is expected to decrease by 5% to 10% compared with 2015.
