The profits of state-owned enterprises in the first 8 months increased by 6.1%

On September 25, the Ministry of Finance released statistics showing that from January to August, the main economic indicators of state-owned and state-owned holding enterprises in the country continued to grow, and the level of assets and liabilities continued to decline. Among them, the total profit reached 240.93 billion yuan, an increase of 6.1% over the same period last year, and the profits of building materials, construction, transportation and storage industries grew rapidly.
Among the profits realized in the first eight months of the year, the central enterprises increased by 6.6% to 1599.29 billion yuan, while the local state-owned enterprises increased by 5.1% to 810.02 billion yuan. From January to August, the net profit after tax of state-owned enterprises was 181.57 billion yuan, an increase of 7.4% over the same period of last year. The net profit attributed to the owner of the parent company was 111.123 billion yuan.
In terms of gross operating income, from January to August, the gross operating income of state-owned enterprises was 394884 billion yuan, an increase of 7.4% over the same period last year. Among them, 2285.93 billion yuan for central enterprises, an increase of 5.8%, and 1662.84.7 billion yuan for local state-owned enterprises, an increase of 9.7%.
"In the first eight months, the main economic indicators such as gross operating income and gross profit of state-owned enterprises continued to grow, reflecting the steady and progressive operation of state-owned enterprises." Li Xuhong, director of Finance and taxation and Applied Research Institute, said.
Tax reduction and fee reduction effect continued to show, state-owned enterprises should pay taxes and fees decreased. Statistics show that from January to August, state-owned enterprises should pay taxes of 30.59 billion yuan, down 0.3% from the same period last year. Among them, 2155.64 billion yuan for central enterprises, down 0.4% year on year; 850.34 billion yuan for local state-owned enterprises, up 0.1% year on year. Li Xuhong believes that a series of tax reduction and tax reduction policies continue to play, effectively reducing the operating costs of enterprises, state-owned enterprises and private enterprises are fully enjoying the bonus of reform. The data show that at the end of August, the asset-liability ratio of state-owned enterprises dropped by 0.1 percentage points, 64.4%. Among them, 67.5% of the central enterprises, down 0.2 percentage points; 62.2% of the local state-owned enterprises, the same as the same period last year. "By pushing forward the structural reform on the supply side, the leverage ratio of enterprises continues to decrease." Li Xuhong said.
